Discover the unclassifiable universe of Géa Augsbourg at the Château de Aigle, 50 years after his disappearance.
The Château d’Aigle is pleased to invite you to the opening of its new temporary exhibition dedicated to Géa Augsbourg on 10 October.
To mark the 50th anniversary of Géa Augsbourg’s death, this exhibition brings together a rich collection of her works, carefully preserved by Claude Augsburger. Drawings, paintings, ceramics and personal documents reveal the prolific creativity of Augsburger, who collaborated with artists such as Chagall and Cingria.
The exhibition also emphasises his connection to viticulture, particularly through his wine labels and the portfolio ‘La terre vaudoise et ses vignes’ (The Vaud countryside and its vineyards). As an echo of this homage, Claude Augsburger also presents some of his own works.
