Open-air cinema in the unique setting of Aigle Castle—enjoy an evening under the stars!

Aigle Tourism invites you to an exceptional movie night at the Château d’Aigle, featuring a screening of the film “Intouchables.”

The film was directed by Olivier Nakache and Eric Toledano.

Movie Synopsis:

Intouchables” tells the story of Philippe, a wealthy man who became quadriplegic after a paragliding accident. Needing daily assistance, he hires Driss, a young man from the suburbs who came to the interview mainly to get a signature so he could collect his welfare benefits. Despite his lack of experience, Philippe appreciates his natural demeanor and decides to hire him.

Over time, a very strong friendship develops between them. Driss brings joy, humor, and energy into Philippe’s life, which had become very monotonous. For his part, Philippe helps Driss gain self-confidence and find a better direction in his life.

Thanks to their bond, each learns from the other and overcomes his prejudices. The film shows that two completely different people can understand and help one another. Blending humor and emotion, this story inspired by real events is above all about friendship, respect, and solidarity.
